Henry out for 2 months

Karl Henry has been ruled out for two months with a medial knee ligament injury following the game with Blackpool.

The Wolves captain was substituted on 60 minutes during the defeat to Blackpool and after he saw the medical staff, McCarthy confirmed the news on Monday.

'Karl is out for two months with medial knee ligament damage,' said Mick to Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'He's had a scan and I think there's a slight tear.

'It's a huge blow, especially with Dave Edwards out with a thigh strain.

'Karl's been great and has been an ever-present unless he's been injured - and the injuries he's had have been serious, with his knee and a damaged spleen. It's a big loss.'

Vital Wolves Comment: The problem now is how to replace him. For me he's been an important part of our season and will be hard to replace.

Henry has been a revelation since we got promoted, yeah he plays a bit square at time, but the energy he brings to the pitch is second to none. This is a big loss - however with our current situation change can only be a good thing... Get well soon Karl.
