Do Wolves have the ability to survive in the EPL?

Do Wolves have the ability to survive in the EPL?

Sky Sports pundit Andy Gray has questioned whether Wolves currently have the ability to stay in the Premier League.

Andy Gray of course is a former Wolves man so you'd think he would be slightly biased towards his old club, especially when the majority of his career appearances came for us.

But it would seem, right now atleast, he doesn't favour a Wolves survival push for a second season.

"I am worried for Wolves but then again I was worried for Wolves last year and they proved us all wrong, Mick tinkered with his system and found a way to get the results that managed to stave off the threat of relegation.' Gray told the Express & Star.

He continued: 'Looking at them at this moment, they are going to need four, five, six wins to stay there and I am just not sure I can see how they are going to get them.

"Are they are a Premier League team? Of course, that`s where they are. Do they have the ability to stay there? That is another question.

So let's ask the question! Do Wolves have the ability to stay in the Premier League?

Tell Andy Gray what you think by voting in our poll to the right of this article.

Yes, I was amazed myself, but I actually agree with practically every word he said. He expected better, our squad is stronger, we are playing well, we keep losing, where is the wins going to come from, we had a good squad, we spent money, we are stronger, but we are underachieving- the understatement of the season. I can't see us beating Blues or Albion either. Personally, the best I can see is 2 points. Of course we never want to bet against our own, or even predict failure, it's not pleasant, but at the end of The Form Book article I predicted a goal less draw with Blues (a clean sheet would be nice right), but the way Albion are playing, I don't fancy our chances there at all. I truly hope Mick can figure something out- as Gray points out, he changed it and saved us last season so .......

I am clinging on to the belief that one can chuck the formbook out of the window when assessing local derbies ... and the hope that Kevin Phillips has a virus.

Amazing how a win can change the views of supporters so quickly. 90% think we have the ability to survive this season when in September when we ran a similar poll 50% thought we would be relegated!
