Kightly's Latest Comeback

According to Mick McCarthy Michael Kightly is 'buzzing' as he enters a second week of a proposed six week rehabilitation period following his latest operation.

It has now been more then a year since we have seen him bombing down the wing, and the manager has left the door open for the players inclusion in his 25 man January squad.

Mick told the Express & Star, "Kightly is buzzing - he`s feeling really good... the timescale is six weeks and then we`ll see from there.... the knee he`s had done is brilliant - he`s really buzzing about it and it wasn't half as bad as the other one."

The timescale of the recovery means the decision will go right to the wire, and without any game time under his belt, with our recent/continued injury woes in mind, would it be a good decision to include him, or give him a few extra weeks to be sure, let him go on loan and have him, hopefully, firing on all cylinders next season?

Thoughts on a post card, the usual address.
