McCarthy against winter break

The Wolves squad mights have had our training routine disrupted due to the snow.

Surprisingly when the training pitches are under four inches of snow, things begin to be a bit difficult.

When the pressure is already piling on top of you as you fight for your lives in the Premier League, every bit of preparation is key to getting the right result.

So with that in mind, perhaps Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy would like a winter break to keep that all important continuity going?

"I have never wanted a winter break. Fans love going to a game on Boxing Day. I`ve done it all my life - I`ve trained Christmas Day, you just get on with it.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He continued: "We played Leeds when I was at Sunderland and there was a full house. It was amazing, and that was in the Championship.

"And Wolves against Wigan is attractive because of the circumstances - it`s a Premier League game with huge things riding on it."

So that's a big fat no from our Mick then!

Vital Wolves Comment: The only people I ever hear suggesting that a winter break in England would be a good thing are mainly the foreigners and that's mainly Sven!

So are there any readers out there who think a winter break would be a good idea?
