Wolves CEO Jez Moxey has confirmed Crystal Palace have made a £750,000 bid for striker Carl Cort.
Cort, who missed 3 months of last season, saw his efforts on front of goal rewarded with a return of just 11 goals, which may tempt Wolves into a bargaining proces despite their squad already being down to ots bare bones, although alaces initial offer has been turned down flat.
Is this a case of vultures circling a perceived cash stapped club, eyeing a bargain in the process?
Some would say that Carl Cort for a quarter of a million pounds is hardly a bargain.
