'If It's Football, It's Vital'

10,000 watch five star performance

Even the common cold couldn't keep Mick McCarthy away from Molineux last night.

'It's probably man flu - soft as anything me! our Mick told Wolves Official Website.

But plenty did stay away with an official attendance of 10,031.

A shame really as those that did miss the game missed out on an early goal from Fletcher after five minutes and then Wolves going on the rampage hitting four in the last half an hour.

Mujangi Bia, Doyle, Jarvis and Jones emphatically putting Wolves into the fourth round and a tie with Stoke City.

On the game McCarthy said: 'I was here doing my job and this has helped put a smile on my face.

'It was really pleasing to watch the lads play as well as we did and see the goals that we scored.

Vital Wolves Comment: With a result such as this it's a shame there was only a little over 10,000 in Molineux to witness it.

A sign of a lack of interest in the FA Cup?

The level of opposition?

Perhaps ticket prices are too high for one off Cup games on top of your season ticket? Or in comparison to going to watch a Premier League game?
