'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brazilians Bedding In

Brazilian duo Jay Soares and Guilherme Finkler have completed their first days work out with the Wolves squad in Spain and have have talked of their eagerness to ply their trade in England.

The young pair are on trial with the club for the rest of this week, and as Jay Soares explained to the club's official site, both are keen to make a big impression with their potential employers.

'Every player in Brazil wants to play in Europe. The English league is the strongest so it's natural for a Brazilian to want to go there.

'If you look at the national team, only two Brazilian players are actually based at home. Everyone wants to come to Europe because our league is not as strong.

'I have a fair idea of how different it is because of my six months in the Dutch First Division.

'It was difficult because I was alone but it was a good experience for me. My English improved and I found out that it's a much tougher game in Europe.

'Now it feels right to try and get a contract with a club like Wolves. I know it is a very big club in your country and it's very exciting for me and Guilherme to have this opportunity.

'The weather (in England) doesn't worry me. Where we come from in southern Brazil was only six degrees when we left. It's not all beaches and Samba - that's mainly in Rio.

'Our goal is to get to the end of this week and hope to have made a big enough impression for Wolves to want to take a longer look at us.

'We are both available but if nothing comes from this week, then we have offers back in Brazil.'

They have got to be worth a punt, sign them for a year with an option to extend, they are not going to be commanding any serious wages and if they dont work out send them back to Brazil in January.
