All is set for a huge monumental 6 pointer on Super Sunday, question is, super for who?
I see Merlin is treating the lads to a Hotel sleep over in Tescoland on Saturday night, hope this gets the adrenalin flowing, they surely wont need to get 'up' for this one!
Perhaps a pie and a pint then a movie to get the lads in the mood!, what movie?? mmm, maybe sword in the stone! starring Merlin of course, na I think Zulu would be more apt,get them into a combative frame of mind!
The favourite though would have to be the Gary Cooper classic High Noon!
I think the one big advantage for us is that we have occupied a bottom three place for some time and for Albion the pressure of dropping down into the 'abyss' for the first time could tell on them. Normally, these games a lot of the time end up in dire goalless draws, this time though I have a feeling it could be a 'goalfest',a draw would favour Albion, I think 'Uncle Woy' would take a draw if offered, for Wolves I think a win is a must.
If we can win this one and then defeat Blackpool the week after it would set us up to go on that elusive little winning run of games that we have all been craving for all season.
Could we get over it if we lose? maybe, but time and games are running out, I think if one of these teams wins both games (6 points) It will go a huge way to reaching safety, the team that loses both will almost certainly be playing in a different division next season, drawing both will do no favours to either team.
I am informed that the 'other' division that we seem to mention so often on here is no longer named after a fizzy pop, but NPower is the new 'handle', lets hope the Wolves never appear in this so named league!
Teamsheet goes out the window on this one, I don't care who plays, I don't care about the subs, I don't care about the weather, its time for everything to click into place, we've played some good stuff at times this term and we now need to give someone a real good pasting! and what better time to start than at Noon?
I think high scoring game 4-2 to the Wolves and a second defeat from the Wolves for Uncle Woy this season! and we'll make it a hat trick for him on May 8th when they visit the Molineux!
Was thinking wouldn't it be 'heaven' if by beating the baggies on May 8th we also celebrate our 'safety' in the top flight. If we do, free drinks in my bar. Not Banksy though!,he can probably shift a barrel on his own, have some 'Kentucky' for NYC. The last time we won at the Hawthorns was I think a 4-3 scoreline, Iwan Roberts hat trick, wouldn't it be lovely if one of the Wolves players could emulate that feat on this afternoon, ahhhh dreaming again!!
Up the Wolves!
