Wolves on the brink of something massive

We are on the brink of something massive according to Richard Stearman, the problem is achieving it is a lot harder than stating it.

The results might not back this idea up at the moment, but it is a good time to be a Wolves fan.

Every year we spend in the Premier League will enable us to not only establish ourselves in the top flight, but it also gives us a chance to develop and move onwards and upwards.

While the stadium development plans could push us even further forward in years to come.

But the crux comes with the simple matter of staying in the Premier League.

Drop down to the Championship and many will see the plans for the future as pointless.

"If we manage to stay in the Premier League - and that`s something we think we`re very capable of doing - then it could be the start of something massive for the club.' Stearman told the Express & Star.

He added: "We could really get something going here. We feel within the dressing room that we`ve improved dramatically this season, but we`ve just got to build from that again and that`s what we`ll look to do.

"It`s a great time to be at the club - there are exciting times for us and the fans alike.

Vital Wolves Comment: I still think we will stay up this season and while others question the ground redevelopment I'm positive towards that too.

If we want to do more than just tread water in this league and we do really want to progress, then investments such as these are critical.

Obviously not at the expense of our Premier League survival though, so obviously a balance has to be met, whether we will do that, only time will tell.
