'If It's Football, It's Vital'

England's Matt Jarvis!

Matt Jarvis trained with the England squad for the first time yesterday.

After being named in a number of provisional squads, only to be cut before the announcement, this was his first time with other members of the England team and Jarvis likened it to going back to school!

'I didn't really know any of the other players so it was like having your first day at school again,' Jarvis told Wolves Official Website.

Jarvis hopes to be involved in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wayne Hennessey's Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

But he first has to impress Capello, he added: 'I just wanted to get out and train and obviously get more comfortable.

'You name everyone in the team and they are all fantastic players and it's just great to be involved training with them.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Wouldn't it be fantastic if Jarvis was to be involved at some stage? After the last couple of seasons I think he really deserves it.

Jarvis really deserves it :) Personally, I always thought, that if Capello would take some of the Wolves players with him to world cup, England“s play would not be such a disaster. Our players are not overpaid ballerinas :D I just hope none of our players in injured in the national duty
