Wolves on International duty

Wolves on International duty

Kevin Doyle and Kevin Foley were not Wolves only players on International duty this weekend.

Most of our attentions would have been drawn to the Millennium Stadium where Wales faced England.

We had Wayne Hennessey representing Wales in net, while Matt Jarvis was involved in the England squad but wasn't included in the team.

The same applied to Sam Vokes for Wales, (who has also recently moved to Norwich on loan).

Marcus Hahnemann and George Elokobi were also unused substitutes for the USA and Cameroon respectively.

Three men who did get a game were Christophe Berra, Johnny Gorman and Nenad Milijaš.

Milijaš and Gorman faced each other as Northern Ireland lost to Serbia, while Berra played against Brazil in a friendly which ended 2-0 to Brazil.

Hennessey didn't have a whole lot to do against England, obviously not at fault for the penalty and the second was a well worked goal.
