Mandric Takeover Denial

Milan Mandric, Portsmouths flambouyant chairman has denied rumours of a proposed £15million take-over at molineux.

Mandric, 67, admits to conversations between Sir Jack Harward and himself, but on a purely multi-millionare club owner to multi-millionaire club owner basis.

Speaking fom Slovenia Mandric said :

'I talk to Sir Jack Hayward regularly, because we get on well. But it's only to chat. Because I'm selling Pompey, people have put two and two together.
But I'm not in talks about buying into Wolves.'

With Mandic about to hand over the reigns at Pompey to Sacha Gaydamak this summer rumours of fresh investments are bound to circulate.

Wether he remains linked to Wolves remains to be seen, but Jez Moxey's comments on the matter would seem to indicate not.

The Wolves CEO said :

'I've heard the rumours, and it's absolute nonsense. It's rubbish. There's nothing in it.'

Why would Manderic want to buy Wolves? He already has "affiliations" with a little European club on the shores of the Mediterranean a long way from the cold hardship of northern England. He is 67 and Portsmouth are starting to build something so when he goes it will be to a tropical paradise as opposed to 10 years of hard labour.

Why would we want a chairman that grew up with Dinosaurs, may as well get that old git Ellis from Aston Villa to form a partnership and then the club can take out a hefty life insurance policy on them and sit back and wait for the rewards.
