Wolves Injury News

Stephen Hunt, Michael Kightly and Adlene Guedioura were all in action for the reserves against Manchester City this week.

Kights and Guedioura had already played for the reserves in recent weeks, but this was the first 90 minutes for Hunt for nine weeks after being out injured with a calf injury.

The trio may well have played their way into Mick McCarthy's thoughts for this weekend.

There was also good news for Dave Edwards after a scan on his back on Monday, appears to have brought positive results.

He is now set to build on his rehabilitation after not featuring since the end of February.

'Dave went for a re-scan on his back.. as planned, five weeks after picking up the injury,' said Head of Wolves' Medical Department Steve Kemp to Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'The results were positive and he will now be able to progress his rehabilitation accordingly.'

Vital Wolves Comment: With the result against Newcastle fresh on everyone's minds do you think Mick will change it with one of our returning players?

Incidentally, the reserves match ended with a 2-0 defeat.

Would be great to have them all back for the final few games, so great options to change games.
