Fletcher & Hunt Injury Blow

Wolves have been hit with an injury blow with Stephen Hunt ruled out for several weeks and Steven Fletcher struggling with a calf injury.

"Fletcher got a kick in training on Tuesday and has had to sit it out. But I`m hoping he should be alright to train tomorrow." Manager Mick McCarthy said to the Express & Star yesterday.

With Fletcher a doubt, it almost guarantees that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will get the nod against Everton.

Meanwhile the Stephen Hunt injury will come as a big blow as he only recently returned to the reserves against Manchester City.

But he has been suffering with a hernia problem and will undergo surgery to fix it over the coming days.

'Hunty got fit but he couldn't get back to full tilt, strength and energy because he was struggling.' Our Mick told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'Hernias are sometimes two or three weeks now but we will see how he goes.

'If he recovers he will be available for the last few games.'

No excuses from now on,injury wise Everton have far more injury problems than us,Fletcher and Hunt???would they make the team anyway??.Have this down for a home win and next week.UTW.

I'm now getting worried, time and games are running out.We should have beaten an Everton 'reserve youth' team.We cannot afford to again go 4-4-2,our defence is not good enough and pray why, does Merlin take off both strikers when we are three goals down?. Its not a disaster today but we are only one or two games from it being one!,we have won the least games over the season and league tables do not lie. Tactically we are getting it wrong when it matters,we are again leaking goals and we have to put it right now,not in a week or two, otherwise time will be against us. I can still see us winning three, but is that going to be enough?,I fear now its not in our hands, having said that I also think its possible that some teams wont win again at all!,Fulham now looms large and its going to be a huge game. He must go with two wide men and a lone striker,Everton only had to stop Jarvis today and that was done,no other threat until the second half and by then damage was terminal.UTW.

Is it OK for me to start panicking how? Report to follow tomorrow morning but it won't make pretty reading. Do I really want to revisit the match on Football First in 30 minutes time?
