Keogh returns to Wolves

Andy Keogh has returned to Molineux from Bristol City and Sam Vokes could follow him from Norwich.

24-year-old Republic of Ireland international Andy Keogh has returned to Molineux for treatment on a back injury.

Keogh has spent most of this season in the Championship having spent five months with Cardiff and three months with Bristol City.

However he has only scored three goals from 27 appearances for those teams and it would appear he hasn't done enough to convince Bristol City to make the deal permanent in summer.

'When you look at the types of forward we've got he's quite similar,' Bristol City boss Keith Millen told the BBC.

He added: 'I'm looking to get a balance to the squad and have different options in different areas.'

Sam Vokes could also be set for a return from his loan spell with Norwich, the young striker did join the Championship side on loan until the end of the season, but there is a 28-day recall option on his loan and Mick McCarthy may well choose to take that option.

Vokes has made three appearances for Norwich over the past month, scoring once.

Vital Wolves Comment: Keogh could of course still return to Bristol City till the end of the season, but it is looking unlikely considering his last five appearances over the past two months have all come from the bench and total 35 minutes of football.
