Kights is ready

Kights is ready

Michael Kightly is set to step-up his return to Wolves and help the side stay clear of the drop down to the Championship.

Since returning from an ankle injury which had kept him out of the side since November 2009, Kights has featured as a sub against Newcastle and Everton.

But after being eased in, Kights feels he is now ready to have a bigger role in the crucial end of season run-in.

'Everyone who has seen the table knows that a couple of wins can shoot you up to mid table.' he told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'We are not worried about going back down to the bottom again at the weekend - we've been in the bottom three pretty much all season.

'We've dealt with that pressure all along and are going to have to pick up some results in the last six games.

Vital Wolves Comment: I'm beginning to get the feeling that our fate will not be decided until the final game against Blackburn. A final winner takes it all game to decide the season.

How are the nerves holding up?
