United can do what they like claims Mick
With the Premier League climax coming to a thriller er climax, our attention has drifted over to Premier League champions elect Manchester United.
Manchester United can clinch the Premier League title tomorrow, which would of course leave their final game of the season against Blackpool irrelevant.
Throw in the little matter of a Champions League final against Barcelona at Wembley within a week of that game and it's hardly surprising that the thought of Manchester United playing a weakened side, giving Blackpool a chance of an unlikely victory and in turn sending us down to the Championship has crossed our minds.
But it's not in our control and Mick McCarthy isn't phased by the what-if's.
'I'm not bothered, I can't do anything about it,' our Mick told Wolves Official Website.
He continued: 'If we get our points, they can do just as they please and it's not going to bother me one iota.
'I'm not going to stick my nose in anyone else's busy because if ever they stick it in mind, they generally get a short sharp one.'
Vital Wolves Comment: I'm sure the irony of Manchester United fielding a weakened team to our possible detriment hasn't passed anyone by?
