'If It's Football, It's Vital'

83% think Wolves will stay up

As a collective group, we sound rather confident heading into 'Survival Sunday'.

Since the beginning of the month we've ran the front page poll with the simple question (and only important question on our minds) Will Wolves go down?

Going into this weekend the current results are as follows:

Will Wolves go down?

No 83%

Yes 17%

So that's pretty clear cut, even with our own bias, surely no one out there will be hit with a bout of nerves on Sunday? The result is clearly in the bag with our survival not in question?

What do you mean you're a bag of nerves already?

... chatter, chatter (teeth) ... chew, chew (finger-nails) ...if only it were that simple!

I have to say that I was rubbing my hands together on Tuesday, probably whistling, about to rattle off some Wolverhampton cheer. What is this?! I asked- eyes wild, moving away from the lap top. Calm? Positivity? Optimism? I sat rocking until the doctor turned up. He checked the table. Studied the fixtures. "It's okay" he said, "they are going to be fine." The players, thankfully have proven reasonably quiet. Mick has insisted we are staying up. Steve Morgan argued the same point I made a day earlier (he must read our site); if we do win and finish 15th five points better off than last season then that is progress. And it is. He went one further, arguing that another five point increase next season would obviously continue a positive trend. Right now, all any of us are hoping for is a Wolves win to be sure of this. In typical fasion I believe I will maintain this calm until Sunday morning before the madness unfolds. The craziest of Premiership seasons no doubt shall end fittingly with several twists and turns. 2-1 win.

Not over here, lovesW. At half-time we will be wondering how we are going to hold on to a 1-0 advantage for a further 45 minutes.

I see that possibility too....no worries, though, someone will get no.2. Candide.
