Breen Signs 2 Year Deal

Wolves have bolstered their back line with the aquisition of Gary Breen.

The former Sunderland defender has signed a 2 year deal at Molineux under the Bosman Ruling , fanning the flames of rumour that say Mick McCarthy is also about to put pen to paper.

There have been ongoing talks with Breen all through the summer, and the player has further fuelled rumours by comparing Wolves current situation with that of Sunderland 2 years ago.

The 32 year old told the clubs official site :

'As an outsider looking in I have found it hard to see why Wolves haven't made the top six in the last couple of years, we identified them as one of our biggest threats when I was at Sunderland, and now I am excited by the prospect of playing my part in helping the club mount a challenge.'
