A report in the final edition of tonights Express and Star suggests that former Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy is on the verge of putting pen to paper and succeeding Glenn Hoddle as manager of Wolves.
The midlands paper believes that an announcement is imminent - with McCarthy refusing to speak to the media cited as evidence.
With the possibility of 3 new signings on the horizon, one already in teh bag, and a new manager in sight, Wolves fans have much more to smile about now than when Hoddle walked leaving the club in crisis.
Although opinion is still very much divided not only on the choice of manager, but ALSO on the choice of transfer targets.
