Injuries Start To Mount

Leon Clarke looks set to miss out on the start of the season after suffering a training ground onjury.

'Leon unfortunately mistcontrolled the ball in training and injured his ankle. We have had it x-rayed and there's no bone damage, but we think he's damaged his ligaments or tendons.

'It will probably be two to three weeks before he can return to training, which is unfortunate so close to the start of the season.' Physio Steve Kemp tol the clubs official site.

With Carl Cort set to miss Saturdays friendly with Swansea following a precautionary check up on his knee, Wolves now have one fit recognised striker, Tomasz Frankowski, who is yet to find the net in Old Gold and Black.

These are only training games and our best players and in areas where we are short players should be protected, so the fact that two guys are out is not really a concern, rather it now than in the first game of the season.

I hope Franek will show his real abilities this season. His Polish fans ( including me) count on him. I'm going to Wolverhampron to see the game against Aston Villa. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Franek. :)
