O'Hara set to complete Molineux move

Any minute now the permanent switch to Wolves from Tottenham for Jamie O'Hara will be complete.

Wolves and Tottenham have agreed a fee of around 5million, while Wolves and O'Hara are thought to be thrashing out the final stages of a four-year deal at Molineux.

"Discussions are on-going and positive but that is all we would wish to say at this point," Wolves Chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express & Star.

He continued: "It should be pointed out that under the terms of Jamie`s loan from Tottenham, he is our player until the end of June anyway, so no other club can get involved until after that date. We are entirely positive about the outcome of these discussions."

Hopefully, while Jez understandably is trying to calm the situation just in case a snag does slow down the process, it is looking hopeful that a deal will be completed at some stage today or within a couple of days, which will be great news for gaffer Mick McCarthy.

as you already know, you are getting a bargain. I have to say I rate Jamie highly and though I am actually disapointed that we are letting him go, I wish his every success with you, he deserves a good and long career.

You've got a good ol' work horse to be the engine of your midfield. Congratulations.

He will need constant reminding that football is a team game.

Well to say he had been injured for quite a while and hardly any foootball in a year , what he did in the few games we had him for he stood out bigtime with his football ability and creativity , with a full pre season under him i think we will have signed a gem and having players like Jamie will attract better players too :-) , I think he will be signed Wednesday !

Great signing. Made a very big difference since he joined and the input from the Tottenham fans, who have been blessed with very good midfielders for some years now is testament to his ability and character; no one seems to doubt him and that they are wishing him the best shows he was well thought of down there. It was great to read what he had to say at the end of the season, that he is loving it at the Wolves from fans to the manager. His signing will send out the right messages- he is just the type of player we need to meaure against now. At this standard there is no point anymore throwing a couple of million here or there hoping this player or that might prove good, might learn the English game etc. You get what you pay for. Another three signings of this quality and we really can go into the new season without silly talk of 'settling for survival.'

When Jamie plays against us next year, knowing us, he will screw us with his long shots and free-kicks at Gomes.

Well if you play Friedel instead Jarvis seems to like scoring against him too hahahaha , Hope Spurs sign a few big guns too to stop the normal sides challenging , You n the scousers to finish 1-2 would be ideal hahaha :-)

Exactly the calibre of player we need to buy in order to continue helping Wolves achieve an established Premier League position. I agree he does need to be occasionally reminded that football is a team game but he brings to the table genuine quality and creativity which is exactly what we need. I hope the signing is confirmed today!
