Wolves enter race for Vaughan

Wolves have joined rivals West Brom in the race to sign out of contract David Vaughan according to the Express and Star.

The Welsh international was one of Blackpool's standout players in 2010-11 and won the fans Player of the Year award ahead of Charlie Adam and DJ Campbell.

Would you be happy if we signed him, or is he just a one season wonder?

I think we can pass on this one. Share your thoughts on Kevin Nolan dropping a division? Keep in mind he went for 4 mil.

Its Big Sam's golden boy ( Bolton / Newcastle ) , wont change there pay structure as im sure Parkers on that and he will be leaving , 60k a week and live in the capital or stay in cold Newcastle where the board obviously didn't want him to see out his career there by only offering him a 2 year deal when he wanted 5 , Newcastle are never gonna win nothing so maybe he wants another challenge of getting a team promoted again , Personally id have stopped at Toon but like i said he has a soft spot for Big Sams balls !

Well- Newcastle are another side I think we will finish above and we have not signed one player yet. I have been saying it for a while but Fat Mike must be the smartest bloke in football at the moment. Sold his best striker for an absurd amount of money and look who they have brought in thus far. A fraction of that 35 million will go back into the side and I definately think Newcastle will suffer for his ills again. Nolan golden boy for Sam yes, I just think it is a waste of a very good player to spend at least one season in the Championship. Next....... Joey Barton. On a post card.

Joey Barton would be a class signing and probably the best in recent years for Wolves as i rate him that highly , he looks to have calmed down a bit and his football ability shines through when he has his eyes set on playing football , but bigger clubs would come in for him and again i doubt we could afford his wages !

Joey Barton has all the class of a rabid dog. While he does have ability I shudder to think of the effect he would have on our tremendous team spirit. NO thank you.
