'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Stay Or Go?

Mick McCarthy has spoken , albeit briefly, on the situation regarding former Wolves captain Paul Ince.

Not much has been heard of The Guv'nor since his unsuccesful application for the managers post, and he certainly hasn't heard from Mick McCarthy since his appointment.

Speaking earlier today McCarthy said :

'I haven't spoken to Paul although the Sunday papers imply that he has been inundated with offers. But, until I've spoken to him, I don't know.'

Whether Paul has the inclination to remain at Wolves purely as a player is unknown.

But with a large section of the Wolves fanbase urging him to stay on for at least one more season, and with the level of adulation he regularly recieves it may be hard for him to move on to pastures new.

But never say never .............
