'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Seol's Regret

Many saw Seol Ki-Hyeon's departure from Wolves to follow his dream of playing in The Premiership as one step down from the Henri Camara debacle.

In the aftermath, certain comments attributed to him did little to endear him to Wolves fans, but in an interview with The Birmingham Post, Seol has expresed his sadness at leaving Wolves, and explained that it was circumstances, not desire that led him to leave th Black Country club

'It is very disappointing for me that I couldn't play in the Premiership with Wolves - if we had made it I wouldn't have had to move.' he said

'When Glenn came in my football really improved and I got used to the game in England and was really excited about last season. But then I didn't play all that much and got a skin infection which didn't help, and when it appeared the club might want to sell me my agent started looking around.

'I was proud to play for Wolves, there were so many fans who got behind me when I was playing well, and I certainly enjoyed my time there. Off the field as well my family were really settled, and everyone was very kind to me.

'So even though I was really pleased to get the move to Reading, I was also a bit disappointed because I will miss Wolverhampton and playing for a great club like Wolves.'
