Social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter are a recent phenomenon.
It provides a way of bridging the gap between the every day fan and the player, we get the chance to look through the windows of their lives without getting arrested for stalking and they get the chance to chat to fans in their own time and in their own way.
But players at other clubs and indeed other sports have already got in trouble for their behaviour and Mick McCarthy is bringing in a media law firm to give the players some tips on how to use social networking sites.
'Players are going to get themselves into trouble over Twitter, I can tell, I can't ban it and I'm not going to try, I had that discussion yesterday.' McCarthy told Wolves Official Website.
He added: 'We're in the process of educating them - we're having a media law firm come in and speak to the players about it.
'We're one of 20 Premier League clubs, and the responsibility that goes with that, as a manager, players and staff - whether young or old - to make sure the club isn't brought into disrepute or themselves by any social networking site, is important.'
Not only are we on Twitter, but we're on Facebook as well!
On our last count we had 679 friends on Facebook and 587 followers on Twitter.
This site is ready to become one of the top Wolves sites around and we want you to be a part of that!
