Guedioura out for six weeks

Wolves will have to make do without Adlene Guedioura for a minimum of six weeks due to an ankle injury.

The Algerian International missed six months of last season with a broken leg, but did return for the final run-in of games.

But a problem with his right ankle will require surgery which will obviously mean he will miss the start of the Premier League campaign.

"I`m hoping Adlene will only be six weeks once he`s had his operation. It`s been a bad few months for Adlene, but you would have to ask him about that.' our Mick told the Express & Star.

He added: "We want him fit because he`s a good player but injuries are just part of the game, unfortunately.

Vital Wolves Comment: I know it's only a month and a bit, but complications can arise and I think this leaves us a little short in central midfield.

Dang, I was hoping that he'd replace Henry this season!

Yet another reason why we have to sign a midfielder and heaven forbid the club may have to splash out another 3 or 4 million to bring in the quality we need. I can't imagine losing the arm band is going to make Karl Henry any better. Sulky time.
