'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Guv'nor Exits

Wolves fans woke this morning to the shock revelation that Paul Ince has played his last game for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Shortly after midnight last night it was revealed that he has played his game for the club.

New manager Mick McCarthy told the clubs official site :

'I haven't spoken to Paul but I can tell you now that he won't be coming back to the football club.

'I've been here for three days and I've not seen him. I think he's made his mind up.

'I had made my decision but I did want to talk to him first.

'But he won't be coming back and we move on.'

It's a sad day at Olofin Towers.

Regardless of whether Paul was ever going to play for Wolves again, it was hoped that if an exit was on the cards, it would be one befitting of the man, which this isnt.

Good Luck for the future Paul, and thanks for the memories
