Are you Keane on seeing Robbie back?

Are you Keane on seeing Robbie back?

Robbie Keane has once again been linked with a return to Molineux.

The Spurs striker is currently being linked with a move to Blackburn, but if that fails, our Mick is apparently interested in taking him on loan.

Over on the Vital Wolves message board SUPERSPARKES asked:

Would you like to see him back?

Now I have to say that I would love to see him come and join us, the massive amount of experience that he would bring would be invaluable, and he has a great deal of enthusiasm.

He could be a great signing.

The other question is which other Wolves old boy who is still playing at the top level would you like to see back at the club?

The obvious one for me is Joleon Lescott.

Tell us what you think

You can never have enough fire power, and like Beckham brings an aura about him to the England squad, Keane would have a similar effect on us. But I wouldnt divert any funds that could be used to bolster our defence... COME ON YOU WOLVES !!!

It seemed a few months back that less were in favour of a Robbie Return but at this moment in time if he was interested in coming then I would snap him up on loan. There was mention Hoff has looked okay during pre-season and Mick talked him up after all of his 20 minutes last week but surely he was just trying to stoke up some interest in him to get him off the books- surely there is no way that having been isolated and packed off on loan whenever the opportunity has arisen that he is suddenly going to regularly feature. Add to that the apparent interest from a couple of clubs in German, and the fact he is if I am not mistaken already into the final year of his contract; we may see that player on his way out before the window, which would leave us with three strikers, and what club goes into a season with 3? Doyle is already a doubt so there have it, down to two and I am referring to Flectch & Blake; Ward of course has looked better upfront but he is not going to start plundering goals at this point- he looks very usefulll of a front man- if George is struggling we also know Ward goes straight in at LB (or may start at LB Saturday). We have needed another striker and I think any signing of Keane would still bring a buzz. He knows Mick well, also a fair few of our players and his love for Liverpool and then Celtic may fan if he sees his name on a gold shirt again! Mick has gone in for him on loan before. The last time I wrote, I said that surely at this stage of his career he would prefer a permanent move but would he prefer a move to Blackburn who have yet to bid (as far as we know) or the chance to return to us where the majority will always hold him in such high regard. He has made his money the same as the rest of them; his comments today are the best I have heard from him in some time that all he wants now is football, in the PL. I think his signature would perk the place up and ease our worries when it comes to our present crop of strikers poosibily getting injured.

Here we go again will Robbie sign will anybody sign i have my doubts as Mick has said he is happy with what he has or if injuries or maybe swap deal force his hand i am now on my knees praying that after the window shuts RJ does not get injured if he does god help us and this is from a realist. Can anybody tell me there happy with are activity in the transfer market after last season finishing 4th bottom with the same players plus 1 this season RJ yes you might say what about Ohara but we had him for a third of last season so basically we have signed one outfield player this season and Mick believes we are a top ten team i hope he is right if not its another long struggle to avoid relegation in stead of spending a little more money on one or to players that would have seen us comfortably in mid table or above why do we seem to have a problem in that only the fans seem to realise this is it just me or is everyone else feeling the same UP THE WOLVES HOPEFULLY

Kia.....Do you expect Mick to say anything other than his team are good enough???? How moral breaking would it be if he let it out we were still looking after a CB, LB or CM? Would it not maybe put some of his players nose out of joint? I think that the 3M's know what they are doing but rather than shout it from the rooftops, they are doing it nice and quietly. Don't get too dispondent...still time left. Still think Hitz will come to us and hopefully Dann or AN other. Keep the faith.

Good point Monkey on moral- one thing about Mick is that he has not spoken a bad word about his players; knowing his character no doubt when they have effed up they get to know about it but I do like the fact Mick will not slam them in public. Kia- same page, same story. One injury- namely Roger Johnson, is going to leave us with huge problems. You could see him today sorting that back line. We were far from perfect but will get better. Players get injured and I can't stand the panic I felt today when he was limping. Failing to bring in three more is as sensible as *****ing into a high wind.
