Keogh joins Leeds on loan

Andy Keogh has joined Leeds United on loan until January with a possibility of the move being turned into a permanent transfer.

The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland striker had two loan spells away from Molineux last season, joining Cardiff for the first half of the season and then joining Bristol City for the second half.

All in all he made 36 appearances for Cardiff, Bristol City and Ireland scoring 3 goals.

'Andy will strengthen our striking options. He's got plenty of experience, having played a lot at this level and in the Premier League.' Leeds gaffer Simon Grayson told the Daily Mail.

He added: 'He's also returning to the club where he started his career so he knows what it's like here and understands the place.'

Vital Wolves Comment: What are your views on Keogh? If his loan is successful what should McCarthy do?

I say good luck to him, he was a good player in the championship for us, but I really don't think that he can make the step up. If Leeds come in for him on a permanent deal then let him go.
