Vital Wolves Fan Interviews

With SUPERSPARKES making a home for himself over on the Vital Wolves forum, we thought we would bring back our fan interviews!

If you would like to do one for the site, feel free to get in touch! Over on the Vital Wolves forum.

Question 1: What is your username on Vital Wolves?

SUPERSPARKES

Question 2: How long have you supported Wolves?

Since I was 6, so a few years now

Question 3: How did you become a Wolves fan?

I moved up from Wales and knew nothing about football. When asked who I supported I didn`t know. I asked my Mum and she said that my Dad supported Wolves, I thought they sounded pretty hard, so that was it. I can blame my Dad for it

Question 4: Where do you travel from to see the wolves play?

I live in south Wales again, but I work away during the week so I can travel some distance.

Question 5: Do you have a pre match ritual or lucky Wolves charm and what is it?

Nothing really, just get very optimistic about the game

Question 6: Which stand do you sit in at Molineux?

I sit where I can get tickets, I don`t go too often now, but as a lad when I lived in Codsall I used to stand in the Northbank, as I grew up it was the Southbank!

Question 7: What is your favourite Wolves chant?

Where the hell are yow from, and lets all have a disco, back in the 4th/3rd division days

Question 8: Are you pro or anti Mick McCarthy?

Definitely Pro…King Mick

Question 9: What was your assessment of last season?

A good season more points, some great results, but a nightmare last day, don`t want that again

Question 10: Do you think when Mick changed the whole side against Man Utd was a good decision or not and what would you think if he did it next season ?

Good decision and I have no objections it about the season not one game

Question 11: Do you think Wolverhampton can establish themselves in the Premier League and once again, become a great club?

Yes I truly believe that we can

Question 12: Predictions for Wolves next season, where do we need to strengthen, should Mick stick with one up front?

I think the back four needs to be strengthening, Roger Johnson a great signing.

Up front, play to the game and adapt as necessary

Question 13: Where do you think Wolves will finish next season? 12th/13th/14th

Question 14: Where do you see Wolves in the next 5 to 10 years?

I think that we can emulate teams like Fulham and Bolton, and be a really good strong Prem side

Question 15: How do you see Sylvain Ebanks-Blake figuring into the team this upcoming season, if at all?

He will be used as an impact player

Question 16: If you could pick one highlight as a Wolves fan what would it be?

Watching Wolves get promoted to the Prem against QPR in the Northbank, and the atmosphere before and after the game

Question 17: What is the worst Wolves match you have ever seen and why?

Chorley in the FA cup, and driving back down to Reading after the game.

Question 18: Has your support for Wolverhampton Wanderers ever wavered?

See above lol

Question 19: Who is your all time favourite Wolves player?

Steve Bull

Question 20: If money and status was no object, who would you most like to see in a Wolves shirt?

I think I would love to see

Question 21: What Wolves player from history would you want in next seasons team?

Steve Bull

Question 22: If you could attend any game in Wolves history, which would it be and why?

One of the floodlight games from the fifties, my Dad always talked about them, and it would be brilliant to have gone with him

Question 23: What is your favourite bit of Wolves trivia?

My Dad lived in the same street as Billy Wright in Tettenall when he was lodging there and went down a drain to get my Dads favourite Marble

Question 24: What is your question for the next interviewee on Vital Wolves?

Where is the weirdest place you have watched a Wolves game on the tele?

Great Answers....Always good to read about others. Love the Site and the fact that ppl seem to respect each others views rather than start silly immature slanging matches. UTW

I did see all the floodlight games in the 1950s and they were magic, even if they have made me over-censorious of subsequent WW teams.
