'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Milijaš wants more game time

Nenad Milijaš has said that one day he would like to test himself in Spain, but for now he is focussed on Wolves.

Milijaš has been one of those players who has sat on the fringes at Molineux since he joined the club.

Last season he made 29 appearances for club and country, but with only 20 Premier League starts, Milijaš wants more game time this season.

"It`s only logical that I hope to have more playing time this season. This is my third year in England and now I feel that I have adapted to the style of play.' Milijaš told the Birmingham Mail.

At 28-years-of-age he really needs to begin establishing himself somewhere, getting regular football week-in week-out.

Is that place with us? Or is it elsewhere?

He continued: 'I`m happy at Wolves and I don`t believe I made a mistake in moving here.

'I heard someone say I could be playing a more important role in Spain, but I don`t regret anything. There`s still a lot of time left in my career and maybe one day I`ll play in Spain."

Vital Wolves Comment: How do you see Nenad Milijaš performing this season?

For me, I always thought that he could be that little bit of extra quality that we needed to kick on, but only once we had strengthened the side enough to carry him.

He is one of those luxury players that in a relegation scrap he might not be the best player you need to 'get stuck in'.

Now with us hopefully kick on this season, he might fit into the side better?

Yes Jamie O'Hara and Stephen Hunt can do a similar job, but I'm not convinced that Milijaš's days are numbered just yet.

He'll get a few games due to injuries and suspensions but to be honest unless he can become more consistant then he'll be a bench warmer at best.

I hope that he'd does stay, he is quality and can do a job for us, but I can't him getting more game time this season! Definately in the squad though!
