Vokes gets Wales call up

Wales manager Gary Speed has called up Wolves striker Sam Vokes to his International squad.

The squad Speed has named is for the European Championship Group G qualifying double-header with Montenegro and England.

The Beeb have reported that the call-up follows Neal Eardley's withdrawal, which seems a bit odd considering he's a full-back at Blackpool!

The first game is the match against Montenegro which will be played at Cardiff City's Stadium on Friday.

The the big one, when Wales travel to Wembley on Tuesday September 6.
