Last season saw one of the tightest leagues in Premiership history, with Wolves surviving only just on 40 points.
There were very few results that could be predicted throughout the season.
We did get off to a poor start with the Home win against Stoke on opening day being the only high point for a number of weeks.
Things were hard throughout and we were either in the bottom three or not far from it for most of the campaign.
This season we have hit the ground running and had a great start, I hope that we can keep things going onwards. The high for me is that in four games we have only conceded one goal.
Much has been said about our possible lack of activity in the transfer market, but that is behind us now and we need to look forward.
I believe that we will not be as involved in looking down as we were last season.
The main point is we have to beat the teams around us and also the teams that will struggle, who I believe will be the teams that came up, along with Blackburn and Wigan.
And also hopefully get a couple of good results against the teams that will obviously be above us.
I think a realistic target for this year has to be 12th in the table, but I think that the points table we have to be aiming for is 50 points.
That is 3 more wins and a draw better than we did last season. I think that it won't be as tight as it was last season across the league, because if we get 50 points that would put us in 8th place in last seasons league.
I really am looking forward to this season and I really do believe that we can kick on and fully cement ourselves in the top flight!
