Bale will not get special treatment

Ask anyone who Spurs dangerman is and they will probably reply with Gareth Bale (especially if you ask someone in Milan).

But while the tactic of sitting on a sides dangerman will nullify the opposition on most occasions. Tottenham isn't one of those occasions.

'We could tie him up nicely and then we've got to worry about Emmanuel Adebayor, Scott Parker, Luka Modric, Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon.

'So they've all got to be given special consideration haven't they if they're good players? Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy told Wolves Official Website before adding: 'I'm having a look at their games and we'll be putting our plan of action together.

He went on to add: 'Bale does need considering of course because he's a good player.

'He's bloody quick but I'm not saying he's unplayable because there's no one that's unplayable.

'So no, we're not making any special plans.'

Lets be honest here, rather than us being concerned about them, they should be more worried about us!

We finished our last game top of the Premier League and unbeaten in our opening three games of the season.

Confidence is spreading through the camp like the common cold at a doctors surgery.

Not only that but in recent years we've held the upper hand over Harry Redknapp's men, beating them twice, drawing once and losing once.

I'm not deluded, I do not expect us to stay undefeated all season and Tottenham could and in all fairness should have too much for us with their multimillion pound assembled squad. But on our day we can match them and better them, Gareth Bale or no Gareth Bale.

I think Mick has it right you cannot single out one player in a side to try and keep quite, by putting two players on them, but I think that Bale is the danger man, and i would have Henry tracking him all game, not giving him the chance to run. Having said that though, we are at home and we need to have our own game plan. The fact is I think that this will be an open attacking game (standby for a 0-0 bore draw now) and I just have th feeling that we could nick it 2-1. I would be happy with a draw. Dream result for me would be 2-0 and another clean sheet, I just can't quite see it.

We (Spurs) must win, simply because the start we've had, normally Wolves is always a hard place to come and a draw aint the worst result but like I said we really do have to win, unfortunately for your lot I think we will but it could easily go either way. High scoring win for us ;-) 4-2

A dream start for me would be an 8-2 win - hey, it happens- but I suspect not at Molineux on Saturday. I have already registered a 2-2 draw on another thread, though I am tempted to go for a 3-2 win.

A point against Spurs would be a good point but they need to turn up and put in a performance in to get anything from us.That goes for any team coming down here this season. Spurs are capable of very good stuff,on their day. Of the "top sides",though, they're most prone to being very average. I think we've come on enough, that visiting teams are going to have to earn what they get.I had a dream where the number 3 was in the scoreline,so,based on that highly scientific method of predicting, i'm going for a 5 goal thriller.
