Johnson confident ahead of QPR

Queens Park Rangers may have spent a lot of money in recent weeks, but Wolves captain Roger Johnson is confident it's a game we can win.

The skipper believes that the game offers a chance of kick-starting another unbeaten run after the first came to an end against Spurs.

"We will be alright. We`ve got another home game on Saturday and that`s a chance to build another run.' Roger Johnson told the Express & Star.

He added: "We`re not going to take anything for granted but we`re confident because we`re a good team and I think we can beat QPR."

QPR have brought in a lot of new players since their promotion and subsequent takeover.

They have brought in quality in many areas and should be able to put up a good fight against relegation.

But this could be a good time to play them.

Vital Wolves Comment: So many new players in a short period of time obviously needs time to gel.

So far they have only beaten Everton this season and lost their last away game to Wigan.

I know that QPR have splashed the cash but it will take time for the team to gel, and also not all signings will work. We have a settled team, we have lost our first game, but i can see us win this game and win it well. This is the kind of team that we have to beat to ensure that we are above where we finished last season! Have a look on the forums I have put up a predictions poll, would appreciate imput to it!!

Wolves to win by a two goal margin. RJ to score his first goal for us with a bullet header that all but takes the net off the goal.

SS-We Have to feel confident against the new boys, don't we? Having said that, I think the other two are really going to struggle for points, let alone wins. Norwich to finish bottom, as a prediction.Let's be 'aving you...... back in the championship. SB- I did punt a ton on us @8/1 at Anfield, last season, so i'm not without some success. Although that was mainly because i'd let Blackpool go @12/1 when they played there.Liverpool were in disarray,at the time, and every now and again the bookies slip up and place odds depending on "names" rather than on form.Generally speaking, though, I couldn't pick my nose, tbh! You're right though, if I get one right(!), i'll definitely predict us to lose from then on.

I am confident as well. I think that the bottom three will be the ones that came up to be honest, Will Swansea score before the end of the month is a big one they look completely toothless. but good at the back! Norwich will conceed late goals because they will think they have the result, see us over the first season and last. QPR have not really bought any quality and their talisman who's name escapes me will be gone in January. There you have it the bottom three, but lets not worry about them. We are looking upwards!!

I agree that Norwich and Swansea are prime candidates for the drop but QPR played NU off the park on Monday. That will have given them confidence while our defeat on Saturday will have dented ours, even if we can explain away the loss.
