Henry In Dream Move

Mick McCarthy has further swollen Wolves depleted ranks with the addition of midfielder Karl Henry from Stoke City.

Henry, 23, will sign for an initial fee of 100,000 rising to 175,000 based on appearances after impressing Mick McCarthy during Steve Bull's testimonial on Saturday.

Henry, a local lad and lifelong Wolves fan is said to be ecstatic over the dream transfer.

The move follows the signings of Gary Breen, Jamie Clapham, Gee Finkler and Jay Bothroyd and the arrival of triallists Edrissa Sonko and Alexis Bertin and comes at the end of a frenetic first week in charge for the former Ireland boss

first look at him on saturday and i have to say i'm impressed, he seems to have a good engine to run on and also can tackle,henry was my wolves man of the match against the villa
