Disappointed with Liverpool result

I think it's a testament to just how far we have come that Matt Jarvis is disappointed that we've gone to Liverpool and lost.

Obviously no manager, player or fan wants to lose a game, but in the Premier League, no team believes they are going to win every game, or even go a season undefeated, yes it's been done, but rarely and always unexpected.

When you are at our level of the Premier League, bottom half, still establishing ourselves in the league, there are certain games that are looked upon as bonus matches.

You go into them expected very little.

Liverpool, a team who have spent hundreds of millions of pounds on their squad is one of those teams.

McCarthy has previously said that we no longer want to be heroic losers, but sometimes you just have to accept that the better quality team will go on and take the points more often than not.

'We were very disappointed with the Liverpool result because we wanted to set our stall out in the first half and be at them and make sure we were in the game.' Jarvo told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'Unfortunately we went 2-0 down and by that time it was too late to start playing.

'But we came out in the second half and really went for it.

'We got a goal back and I thought we were really in with a chance of getting a point.'

Well MJ your right it was disapointing, but it was better than the previous week! The second half display was better and we could have got a result in the end! But the word from the forums here is Must try harder!

yes it was disapointing only for the fact if we had played the first half as well as the second we could have won. What is really disapointing( is it the manager or the players who have no belief) that they can not beat these teams i admit i have said some of these players are not PL STANDARD.But lets be honest liverpool are no great shakes and why stick with the same players surely if the others arnt that good why are they still their. The only time the team has changed is because of injuries which overall does not say a lot for the strength of the squad.
