Cort Pledges Future To Wolves

Carl Cort has finally put paid to the rumour he is about to join Wolves old boy Mark Kennedy at Crystal Palace.

Speaking to the clubs official site, he talked at length on recent events at Molineux, and why he sees his future at Molineux and not Selhurst Park, despite Wolves and Palace agreeing a fee for him.

'The last couple of weeks under the new manager have gone well for me and I'm looking forward to starting the new season,' he told Wolves World.

'Mick McCarthy has got the lads buzzing and we are all working hard to be ready for the opening match against Plymouth.

'I was tempted by a move back near my friends and family in London but I'm enjoying life at Wolves at the moment.

'I've got 12 months left on my contract and hope to talk to the club about extending that in the near future. In the meantime I just want to get my head down and do the best I can for the club.'

So that, would appear to be that. Well done Corty!! You know it makes sense

Now about that Mandric rumour.....

he has never been my cup of tea, but as he is staying will get my support like every other wolves player, but for pete's sake get off the left/right wing and get on the end of some crosses!

it would of been a blow if he left, if he did blackstock would be a perfect replacement i would say he's better anyway
