McCarthy Denial

Mick McCarthy has issued a swift, short, and to the point statement regarding Skysports claim Wolves have made a bid for Dexter Blackstock

Speaking through the club's official website he had this to say.

'There's nothing in that. I think there may have been some interest in him before I arrived but no one at the club has made a bid for him on my behalf.'

Was Glenn Hoddle weighing up a move for Blackstock before his resignation? It's doubtful we will ever know, but it now seems certain that ther yhas been no approach from Mick McCarthy
