'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Treatment Room Filling Up

It wouldn't be Wolves if there wasn't bad news at the start of a campaign.

Mick McCarthy may be working miracles in the transfer market, but he cant escape Wolves perennial injury curse.

Listing Wolves injury woes, Mick McCarthy outlined the size of the problem on top of Mark Davies imminent cartilage surgery on the clubs official site.

'Jackie McNamara will be out for a couple of weeks yet. He's only jogging at the moment. But fortunately that's a position we have cover for.

'Seyi Olofinjana and Leon Clarke are training but they aren't match fit, and there's a question over Lee Naylor who was sent home this morning coughing and spluttering.

'Matt Murray is due to have a scan on his foot. We are hoping for good news but I'm not going to predict anything. We'll have to wait for the results.'

I was watching Clarke in the prematch warm up, his shooting skills were hopeless. I think he must have had his boots on the wrong feet.

because we are short of forwards he will be picked for a place on the bench, don't know why, just another footballer with a big ego!just hope his injury keeps him out for a long time!
