McFadden saga over

The James McFadden saga is now over after the striker chose to join Everton.

The 28-year-old who hasn't played any football for 13 months since he suffered cruciate ligament damage has now finally settled on a new club.

He managed to waste our time after we gave him a two week trial and helped him return to fitness.

He's managed to waste Celtic's time, after the Scottish side thought he was joining them over the weekend and has instead returned to Everton who he has previously made over 100 appearances for when he was there between 2003 and 2008.

Vital Wolves Comment: Must admit I'm not bothered now one bit. He was always going to be a bit of risk with his injury and he's simply played all the clubs against each other to get the best deal.

Modern day footballer eh?

I totally agree he has wasted our time and used us in effect as a bargaining chip to get what he wanted.
