Black Country derby fall out

The T-Shirt, the apology and the drunken YouTube clip.

The fall out from the weekends Black Country derby continues in the local papers this week.

Anyone who has picked up either the Express & Star or the Birmingham Mail has had plenty of off the field action to read.

We've had the anger regarding Paul Scharner`s T-shirt.

Which in fact was just a Albion crest drawn by Scharner`s children, but was taken as an act of provocation which our Mick didn't take too kindly too.

"He shouldn`t have done it - getting beaten is bad enough but you don`t want your nose rubbing in it. I saw him do it and maybe that upset the lads. I am not into that." he told E&S.

We've had Nenad Milijas's apology for the performance.

"I would like to thank the fans who travelled to the game and say sorry to them for losing the game, No one is happy when we lose - players or the manager.' He also told the Express & Star.

And then we've had the two Wolves supporters who literally p*ssed on West Brom's party.

'We'd both had a drink. There was no malice involved and no criminal damage.

'It was just a bit of banter and we didn't realise how much bother it would cause. It was just a bit of a joke.' Alan Shinton told the Mail.

Birmingham Mail Video

I guess anything to distract us from the incidents on the field, that unsurprisingly has got the Mick McCarthy out bandwagon picking up some speed.

A 2-0 defeat to your local rivals was never going to help matters, especially when it extends a poor run of results to five consecutive defeats.

All good clean fun. Can't see anything wrong with that at all.

It's getting really bad if MM has to divert attention away from the team's performance by complaining about a T shirt. If he can't see what's wrong with events on the field, there's no hope for us.
Southbank60
Very true SB60, he seems to be burrying his head deeper in the sand. But I have to say very funny with the two guys at WB, talk about taking your opportunity!
SUPERSPARKES
The blokes kid drew a picture and he wore it on his shirt. Wow. Anarchy. All this brings to mind is Mick & Terry with a pack of crayons and a chalk board, tongues hanging out, 'drawing' formations.
New York City Wolf
I can draw Garfield. Can I have a go, Mick?
