Keogh wants to stay with Leeds
If reports are correct this morning, we may well have seen the last of Andy Keogh at Wolves.
The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been on loan with the Championship club since the start of the season.
So far he has made 21 appearances, scoring 2.
His loan is set to expire at the start of next month, however according to the local press in Yorkshire, Keogh wants to make the move back to the club where he started his career on a permanent basis.
"I love the club and in an ideal world I`d like to stay' he told the Yorkshire Post.
He continued: "It`s up to the club (Leeds), and my agent will start speaking to them soon and to Wolves to see what the story is and we`ll just go from there. I`ll listen to what they have to say. Leeds is a great club."
Vital Wolves Comment: Must admit, when we saw him as a second half substitute against Stoke in August 2010 I didn't think then that it would be his last appearance for the club!
He has seriously fallen out of favour with Mick McCarthy over the following 16 months and a permanent switch is exactly what the player needs in my view.
