Our latest transfer rumour links us with a move for Andrew Crofts.
I'll confess, I'd never heard of him so when my quick google search told me he was one of the UK's leading ghostwriters, I briefly thought how wonderful it would be if a footballer decided to use his time in such a way.
After a brief moment of daydreaming I had a further look and came to the conclusion that it wasn't the same Andrew Crofts.
Instead thanks to a quick read of Vital Norwich, the Crofts that McCarthy is interested in is a 27-year-old Welsh International who plays in midfield.
In fact he has 25 caps for Wales, including an appearance in the last game against Norway, which makes it even more embarrassing that I'd never heard of him.
He's played the majority of his career around the lower leagues, starting off at Gillingham with loan spells at Peterborough and Wrexham before he moved to Brighton and then on to Norwich at the start of last season.
He's made 59 appearances for Norwich, at first helping them to win promotion from the Championship and then of course help them acclimatise to the Premier League.
According to the Sun newspaper he'd cost around £2million, which I have no idea if that's money worth spending or not, although going by comments from the Vital Norwich site that's probably a little undervalued.

I would like to point out a fundamental error in TeddyLyon's interpretation of the words, 'Wolves Bites', in the title of this thread. He erroneously presumes that the headline-writer was using the word, 'bites', as a verb. If so, it has to agree with the third person plural noun, 'wolves', and should be written as 'bite'. However, as the writer was using the word as a noun, 'bites' is correct. Admittedly, he should have added an apostrophe after the 's' of 'wolves' or a hyphen between the two words but that is not the point that TeddyLyon is making.
