'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tube strike forces postponement

Industrial action on London's Underground system might have forced Arsenal's hand in the postponement, but we don't have long to wait for the rearranged date!

I'm sure you will have read already that our Boxing Day game against Arsenal has now been moved back 24 hours and will now kick off at 3pm on Tuesday, December 27th.

That might be fine for Arsenal and everyone locally, but for those Wolves fans who were planning to make the trip down to London, they will all now have to rearrange their plans, which is hugely inconvenient at such short notice, leaving many fans unable to go.

Of course refunds are available, but with such a short time frame, you have to be quick!

If you are unable to make the game with the change of date you must contact the Ticket Office before 12pm tomorrow (Saturday 24 December 2011 - Christmas Eve).

Fans are able to do this by visiting the Ticket office in person or calling 0871 222 1877 with their supporter number, seat details and a contact telephone number.

A brief statement on Wolves Official Website said: 'The circumstances are out of the Club's control but Wolves would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused as a result of the date change.'

So we have been spared Boxing Day misery! Or?...who knows, we have not beaten any of the big clubs yet. I wish all on here all the very best.

All the very best to you too, lovesW.As for the postponement, at least it spares us the tabloidesque headlines to do with 'gifts', 'turkeys'. 'stuffing' and (the footballers favourite) 'roasting', for a day at least.Who knows, we may have a late xmas gift and be the ones writing our own corny headlines (not that Akela usually needs much excuse ;-). I think we'd all rather do the roasting than be on the receiving end of one!
