FA Cup clash selected for television

ITV bosses clearly didn't watch the FA Cup third round 0-0 draw between Wolves and Birmingham on Saturday.

The game was far from a classic with rows upon rows of empty seats at St. Andrew's and both sides making a number of changes and treating the game more like a training match than an FA Cup fixture between two local sides.

But ITV clearly believe they know better and have selected the replay for television coverage and by doing so have moved the game to Wednesday, January 18.

In a bid to avoid the embarrassing position Birmingham were in with a half empty stadium, Wolves have cut ticket prices even further with Adult Season Ticket Holders now able to gain admission into anywhere in the ground for just £10 (£15 for non Season Ticket Holders) and £5 for concessions (Over 65s/Under 17s/Students with NUS Extra Cards).

For those organised chaps out there, for anyone who had already bought tickets before the price cut, please check Wolves Official Website for details on how to claim a part-refund, any unclaimed refunds will be donated to Wolves Aid.

A statement on WOW added: 'Both clubs would like to apologise for the late notice and any inconvenience this may cause but news of the selection for live coverage was only received on Tuesday evening.'
