Henry has apologised

Henry has apologised

Mick McCarthy is prepared to draw a line in the sand regarding Karl Henry's dismissal against Aston Villa.

Henry will serve a three-game ban for kicking out at Marc Albrighton on Saturday.

McCarthy has stated that Henry has apologised to Mick and his team-mates and as far as Mick is concerned that's an end to it.

'There is no excuse for it and Karl gets a kick up the backside for doing it. He's apologised to me and the players.' McCarthy told Sky Sports.

He continued: 'But he hasn't made many mistakes in the last five and a half years at Wolves and has been brilliant for this club. He gets my support for the next 13 games he will be available for.'

No need to apologise my good man, not having you in a Wolves shirt for 3 games is more than enough compensation for me
