Frimpong out for season

Emmanuel Frimpong's season is over after the Arsenal midfielder suffered a anterior cruciate ligament injury against QPR.

The 20-year-old who was supposed to be on loan at Molinuex for the remainder of the season will now see a specialist before having an operation on the injury.

He is expected to be out for anything up to 9 months.

'Bad News is that I'm out for 6-9months with my Knee.' he wrote on Twitter before adding: 'I wanna thank all the wolves fans for their support since I've been here and really Hope wolves stay up this season'

A real shame for both the lad and the club. He definitely gave us something extra. All we can do is hope that Henry has been watching him and maybe llearned something. He will be a big miss. Let's hope Bassong lasts longer.
