Well we now know who will not be the next Wolves boss, but are we any closer to knowing who will be?
With no football this weekend, our only interest has been that of Wolves search for a new manager.
Neil Warnock who had been cemented in place as third favourite for the job at Molinuex all of a sudden became a favourite at Huddersfield and then at Leeds, before taking the job with the Championship club.
Leeds chairman Ken Bates told the Express & Star: "We believe the appointment is arguably the most important we have made. The objective was to appoint a manager who had for a proven track record of getting teams promoted and in Neil we have a man whose record is second to none."
That left Alan Curbishley and Steve Bruce as the main two up for the job.
Over the weekend, Steve Bruce has also become the bookies choice over Alan Curbishley, who appears to be the fans choice.
But the Daily Mail have reported that Bruce has turned the job down after being offered the position until the end of the season.
That, according to them at least, means that Morgan and Moxey will either return to Bruce with an improved offer, or move to Curbishley who they believe is happy to prove his worth over the next 13 games.
Unsurprisingly CEO Jez Moxey has never been one to comment on speculation, so the latest comments on WOW are not very revealing.
'We've said right from the beginning we would not be getting drawn on individual candidates,' Jez told Wolves Official Website.
He continued: 'We have seen some very good candidates and have got some more candidates to see and we've got second interviews.
'So far I think we are just about on schedule to keep to what we said which was if at all possible that we'd like a new manager in before our away game to Newcastle United.
'We can't be absolutely sure that will be the timeframe but ideally that is what we want to do.
